Most of us thinks that honey is honey and how it has different types? In market as well we get only honey with different brands so what is the concept behind the types of honey. A beekeeper is the actual source of collecting the honey from different flower regions and based on that setup we have classified honey like below.

All honey divides into two main groups.

  1. Poly floral honey- It is produced by the flower nectar of a wide range of flowers. The most used names for Poly-floral honey are Multiflora and Forest honey.

2. Mono floral honey- It is produced by the flower nectar of a single melliferous, the name of the plant is usually the name of the honey. For example, Lychee, Ajwain, Jamun Honey etc.

At pure raw honey, we produce both above types of honey with our experience in beekeeping from nectar survey to great quality honey extraction. Watch our video that describes the different types of honey- watch now.

You can shop our wide range of honey here. The local beekeeper is only collects and separate honey according to type but that is also very limited in market. Most of the brands mixes honey into single honey for selling. Honey colors are varying as per flowers nectar collected by bees and taste is also different with poly floral honey & mono floral honey. We can use any type of honey for our daily use as health benefits will be same for both just a difference in taste, color and thickness.

You can try this honey from any beekeeper rather than purchasing from brands and feel the difference. #Support local beekeepers #Promote organic farming #Pure raw honey #beefarmer #beefarming #save nature, save honeybees #honeyproducer
